Mazin Qumsiyeh is a Palestinian activist and author of Popular Resistance in Palestine: A History of Hope and Empowerment. Qumsiyeh, a former professor of genetics who taught at Yale and Duke universities, returned to his native village of Beit Sahour near Bethlehem in the occupied West three years ago. He currently blogs at Popular Resistance.
