Ingrid Sinclair’s “Flame”

This event was moderated by Jesse W. Shipley, Assistant Professor of Anthropology & Africana Studies and Director of Africana Studies.

Panel was followed by a viewing of the film, “Flame,” directed by Ingrid Sinclair.  “Flame,” shot in Zimbabwe with an entirely Zimbabwean cast, the film is based on the accounts of women who joined the liberation war.
