“Conflict Resolution in Palestine”
George Qassis is a Palestinian activist who helped set up the International Solidarity Movement (ISM) after Arafat broke off the Oslo peace talks and launched the second intifada. ISM describes itself as “a Palestinian-led movement committed to resisting the Israeli occupation of Palestinian land using nonviolent, direct-action methods and principles.”
