Andrew Bacevich

 

“The New American Militarism”

 

Andrew Bacevich teaches U. S. foreign policy and security studies at Boston University, where he also directs the Center for International Relations. He is the author or editor of several books, the most recent being American Empire: The Realities and Consequences of U. S. Diplomacy (2002) and The Imperial Tense: Prospects and Problems of American Empire (2002).

 

His articles and reviews have appeared in a variety of scholarly and general interest publications including Foreign Affairs, the Journal of Military History, Diplomatic History, The Wilson Quarterly, The National Interest, Commentary, First Things, The New Republic, and the Weekly Standard.
