Nuruddin Farah is a prominent Somalian writer. He is the author of over 10 books, including the trilogy, “Blood in the Sun”. Farah’s work is largely considered to be one of the most important not only of the English-speaking African world, but even also of English literature at large. His approach to complex subjects through a language that feels alive, poetically rigorous, and yet clearly refusing romantic conventions, earned him the esteem of critics and readers in increasing numbers all around the world.
