About the Internship Program

In April 2001, The Human Rights Project initiated a student summer internship program. This program is designed to give students the opportunity to experience first-hand the professional human rights environment, an integral part of human rights education and scholarship. At the moment, our program is open to Bard students exclusively.

Bard Center for the Study of Hate internship funding for 2021

In 2015, the Human Rights Project initiated a collaborative internship program with the Justus and Karin Rosenberg Foundation for Bard students to gain hands-on experience with nonprofit groups and other organizations that focus on hatred, antisemitism, extremism, and xenophobia. In October 2018, this collaboration officially became the Bard Center for the Study of Hate, which continues to offer internship opportunities to students across Bard’s global network of campuses and to Bard’s high school students who are 18 years old by the application deadline. Please visit the BCSH’s internship page for further information and application details.
