The Milošević Trial Public Archive is an 1,800 hour video document of the entire trial of Slobodan Milošević in the Hague, Netherlands, which began on February 12, 2002 and ended with his death on March 11, 2006.
The original archive, which was available online via RealPlayer, is currently being re-digitized in partnership with the Internet Archive and with the invaluable support of the National Endowment for the Humanities’ Humanities Collections and Reference Resources program. in order to offer high-resolution video, all of which will be licensed under Creative Commons (CC BY 4.0). Alongside the online archive, we also maintain a hard copy of broadcast quality video at our archives in New York. These tapes are available to the public to be copied at cost.
Our project partners in generating the original archive were Domovina Net and XS4ALL in Amsterdam, SENSEmedia, and Free Serbia in Belgrade. The project was made possible with the generous support of the Glaser Foundation, the Mellon Technology Foundation, and the International Center for Transitional Justice.
