Jess Sundin

Jess Sundin is a founding member of the Twin Cities-based Anti-War Committee. Her recent activism has been in response to the occupations in Iraq and Afghanistan, but she has also worked to oppose US military aid to the repressive governments of Colombia and Israel. For eleven years, Jess has been a clerical worker at the University of Minnesota, and a member of AFSCME Local 3800. This has given her a special interest in the plight of trade unionists in Colombia, who are assassinated and imprisoned every day for their union organizing.
